Still not where I want to be

So I am pretty pissed at how things have gone so far.

I book my initial flight from NY to Charlotte to Dublin.
It was delayed by an hour. So they book me for NY to Philly to Dublin because they had a later flight to Dublin in case I missed the earlier one from Charlotte.

Ok.

Then the hot, humid, muggy weather decides to pour. Thunderstorms. Lightening. NY to Philly plane taxing for 3-4 hours. I get to Philly only to find out my 9 o clock plan left at 9:30p even thought they kept telling us to not worry.

No more flights from here to Dublin until 545p tomorrow night. I am stuck at the Philadelphia airport for 16 hours. I am in a US Airways lounge with two dudes sleeping in what looks like silver giftwrap or aluminum foil. IDK, but it protects them from the dirty seats.

Today I realize that the Big Corporations really do suck. US Airways said since they can't control the weather they cannot provide me with any accommodation nor a food voucher. All the hotel rooms around the city are booked. I am here with other people and I realize US Airways does not care about its passengers...to paraphrase Kanye West's quote about George W. Bush.
