I arrived around 1:30 p.m. Got the taxi to the house I am going to live in with 8 other people. Co-ed housing, 5 girls and 4 guys. Everyone is nice.
The flight from Philadelphia to Frankfurt was good. I could not fall asleep so I watched the adjustment bureau, just go with it, and a documentary on the Cricket World Cup. The movies were a disappointment, but the documentary was good: it showed the captain's perspective on the journey to winning the world cup.
The wait in frankfurt was chill. I befriended an older irish couple from Galloway who were coming from Ottawa, Canada after visiting their daughter. They were really nice and they told me how to get about Dublin a little bit. In the flight from Frankfurt to Dublin, I was really tired. It was a two hour flight and I was trying to catch ZZZs. However, annoying little German kids kept talking and talking and talking. And German is not the best accent or language to the year. So while I am sleeping, it would feel like these little are trying to beat my eardrum up and then all I could think of was David Hasseloff and his successful career as a musician in Germany.
I got out of the airport and found all my luggage. Out of the airport, got the nicest taxi driver who helped me through a lot. However, the taxi meter could have slowed down a bit more. Baha
I slept most of the time. My roommate's from UConn. And the other housemates are pretty cool. I just had a vodka and orange juice drink and am kinda buzzed because I haven't really eaten at all.
I miss you guys!
